I met Ate Cristina through our church’s online meeting. She sent a prayer request for “Destiny Japan”. That’s a huge prayer request, almost like an impossible thing to happen in our generation (lol joke as of writing this i feel like it’s totally possible but at that time, it felt like it wasn’t okay).
Anyways, long story short, she’s been praying for me, she said. Haha. She’s been praying to meet someone like me, she said. Haha. And so we planned a day to meet. We did an itinerary that would cover most of my ministry and join some fellowships.
Then, in the middle of our conversation, she invited me to go to Disneyland, her treat. I didn’t reply to that message knowing that I really can’t afford to go to Disneyland and we haven’t even met so I don’t want to be thick-faced to accept the treat. But she mentioned it again a few days after. Long story short, we agreed to do the DisneySea which is her favorite place in Japan and where I’ve wanted to go to.
The best. The day was filled with pure love, joy, and peace.
Before we went to Disney, we joined Homeless ministry, Yoyogi fellowship, had lunch outside, and lost Ate Cristina’s phone. Praise God somebody surrendered it to the station.
