I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine;
Song of Songs 6:3
he grazes among the lilies
My beloved is mine, and I am his;
Song of Songs 2:16
he grazes among the lilies.
My beloved is mine and his desire is for me;
Song of Songs 7:10
For the past week, I have been studying Song of Solomon and sharing my insights with Sunrise Podcast. It is the love month and I think it’s just fitting that we indulge in the purest form of love, which is Jesus, and His original design of love.
This verse, at least its idea, was repeated 3x times in the book of Song of Songs.
iv. In Song of Songs 2:16 the maiden said: My beloved is mine, and I am his. Here she says, I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine. Some people note that in the first the emphasis is on what belongs to her; in the second the emphasis is on whom she belongs to. Perhaps she found it was a more wonderful thing for her to belong to him than for her to “have” him.

Anyways, we are not here to do bible study haha. We are here to talk about our belongingness to God.
My Prayer
Lord, I belong to You.
I am secured in the love
you have for me.
Father, you love me so much
and you’ve shown it a million times
that I no longer have to question your love for me.
And now I know where you are.
I now know where to find you.
You are in the garden…
Our place, our secret place
and I can always meet you there.
Thank you God
Oh also, Lord You are mine.
You are also mine~
My Lord,
My Savior,
My Lover,
My God,
My Source,
My Everything,
Father, You are my portion.
To be loved like God is like dancing among the lilies in the midst of a battlefield. He fills me with peace, assurance, and strength. Every step of my foot is held by His hands. It is like that.
